Testimonials

Alfred came out to look at my AC unit on two separate occasions. Each time, he was so incredibly polite and professional. I really appreciated his honesty about my AC system and what I needed. He did not over sell me or do any unnecessary services. I know nothing about AC units/systems and I am relieved to be working with someone who is so helpful and kind. My AC is blowing cold and working great! Highly recommended Alfred!

Our air conditioner gave out on a very hot day. We called AMP heating & air and Alfred came out quickly. I was especially impressed with his honesty, and I felt like he wasn't trying to sell me anything I didn’t need. Alfred was friendly and made it easy for me to understand what we needed done. Thanks to Alfred our house is cool again! We highly recommend AMP Heating & air.

We’re so happy we had AMP Heating and Air Conditioning replace our old tired furnace and AC unit. What a difference!! Alfred was so helpful in the process. He answered all of our questions and gave us options without any hard press, which we really appreciate. He arrived on time, finished early, and he and his crew were very respectful of our home...laying down protective coverings through the house wherever they needed to bring in equipment. Thanks Alfred!!

Best installer in Orange County. All systems come with minimum 1 year parts and labor warranty plus 10 year compressor.
Licensed - Bonded - Insured
Specializing in installation of residential air conditioning and heating equipment. We offer the same services as the large businesses, but we charge fair prices for a better quality install.

We at AMP Air are honest and reliable. No upselling. Competitive pricing. We listen to your needs and concerns and will give you multiple options and explain everything in detail. Background checked and drug free.

Uneven temperatures throughout home?
Consider Zoning. Multiple thermostats controlling separate areas of home only cooling rooms that are occupied. Zoning gives you the ability to make any room as comfortable as you need on those 100 plus Degree days.

High electric bills?
Consider a 2 stage variable speed system and all new r-8 ducting.

Is your home properly insulated?
It doesn't matter how efficient or how big your system is. If your home isn't properly insulated the temperature will rise quickly after set temperature is reached and continue to run all day on those hot days.  We can make your home comfortable under any conditions but it is important to understand the benefits of insulation.

Does brand matter?
There are a few manufacturers that I will not install. We've installed everything and after many years of experience we prefer to only install a few brands. Every manufacturer has a builders model. Typically this means the sheet metal is thinner, less sturdy, and a bit noisier. Outside of builders model equipment there is not much difference between manufacturer's. The only important factor to consider with brand are manufacturer warranties. Some manufacturers back their equipment completely with whole replacement and others will have you wait a month while individual part is shipped.

New installation?
How your system is installed is vital.
Regardless of efficiency level, a basic system installed correctly taking all factors in consideration (like size of return and air leaks) is very important. Taking all necessary steps to make sure installs are done the right way and look good is what we do.

Ducts sized properly?
It's as if not more important for the return to be sized properly. You're only going to get enough output if you have enough input.

2 story home with 1 system and furnace downstairs?
Cooling upstairs will always be a challenge without freezing downstairs. In a perfect world, a system for each floor is ideal. A 2nd option is separating the floors with zoning. Pushing all that downstairs air upstairs when only upper floor is occupied. Most efficient option is moving equipment to attic if possible allowing returns to be installed upstairs.
